    Norinco 56 S (AK 47)

I spent 33 years as a shooter and collector without an AK. Now I bought two in just a few months span.

After the 56-1S under folder, I just found an equally cheap 56 S fixed stock for the same amount of $ 650.-

    The pair

The folding stock rifle is sexier imo, but I bet the fixed stock is more shooter friendly

The only Chinese underfolder I have tried shot very well, but the stock strut was eye watering.

A European pattern AKM(straight line) stock on the fixed one will more than likely cut down on muzzle flip you will probably get with the drop the Chinese stock has.

Worth it. Now you just need a 74M.

Those are some top-quality factory AKM's.

Yes the underfolder will wobble unless its brand new.

Pretty sure they are close to $2000 USD in the States, these days.

For China imports, add another grand or so. AK prices have gone insane.

It's interesting that the semiauto Chinese rifles exported to Switzerland do not have the 3rd receiver pin.

The CAR-15 that my father had in Vietnam looked like the top one in the bottom two pictures.
