Ultralight and scope mounts are things that don’t go well in the same sentence. There’s a reason the most popular mounts are built the way they are.

Yeah. Seriously. The only thing light is the OP’s wallet when he has to buy a new mount.
AQ planned for years and sent their A team to carry out the attacks, and on Flight 93 they were thwarted by a pick-up team made up of United Frequent Fliers. Many people look at 9/11 and wonder how we can stop an enemy like that. I look at FL93 and wonder, "How can we lose?". -- FromMyColdDeadHand

Also, by using your pinky finger to push on the scope mounted on these ultralight mounts, you can change the POI over 1+ MOA easily...

Neither would I.......... In fact, I'd be a hard pass on that one based solely on how it "locks" together. That is one minor bump away from being an ultralight boat anchor.

Imo top hinge style mounts are inherently flawed. Even the $300+ scalarworks mounts will break along the hinge pin, and I’ve personally seen two break in classes.
    I paint spaceship parts.

The Ultralights are 6061 and the LEAP are 7075…

What part exactly broke on the Scalarworks?
