I have been offered a ta 26 at a very good price, but I can’t work out how it differs from the ta 44?
Seems to be something to do with the mount possibly, but otherwise exactly the same specs?

Ta 26 was designed to mount directly to the M16/M4 carry handle, or so I can ascertain. Otherwise specs appear to be exactly the same as Ta 44 which was designed to mount on a flat top.
