New production 41s??? There's no way I could run a load that hot with my lot of primers.

    Purchased in the last 6mo. Lot# F30C102

    That was actually 24.5g.

Today was 24.8 resulting in 2800fps (16" barrel)

Odd. Those look great. I'd say I made a mistake or it was some fluke or something. But the primers I have are consistently causing problems in about 7-10 different loads.

These primers are the gift that keeps giving the whole year. 1.3 gr under max TAC load and still swiping many of the heads.

That is bizarre. 1.3g lower and no change, I'd expect even variations in primers not to make that kind of difference.

I chased head swipes on a grendel and worked the load down down down down. And then figured out that it was a sharp edge on an extractor or bolt face..

Changed the bolt and the issue went away.

We're going to run this load any damned way. We need some load for these primers. It's annoying because the load tracks a little softer/lower in my ACOG, but still swipes a little. At least the primers stay in the brass though.

Your running 69gr right? I remember when I started the current load I tried 69, 75, and 77gr. 69 pressure spike on the low end of 556 data. The 75's blew the primer out at the top end of 223 data. The 77gr I've never had an issue.
