    I set my die to 2.25 for everything OTM.

    2 rifles shot the loads fine (even supressed) a third one had a few bad swipes and one popped primer unsupressed.

    It's a possible sign for overpressure, where the brass flows into the ejector hole during firing and makes a swipe mark on the case head as the brass ejects. If you reload the same brass enough it can erase the markings on the case head. Pretty wild.

    It's actually common on true 5.56 pressure ammo like M193.

    Its worth noting that while swipes are recognized as a pressure sign, they can also be caused by an ill machined ejector pin hole, and that gun might swipe on all loads. I’ve also heard of swipes being caused by excess headspace, but I’m not sure about that one.
