I stumbled on a gem of a load with the CCI 41 primers. I had a 77 gr Nosler CC 22.8 gr load of VV N135/Wolf Primer that was a little slower than desired... In the upper 2600s from a 20" barrel. I substituted the CCI 41 primers in knowing I'd get a velocity bump and got a sub MOA load that ran 2752 fps and had a nice SD of 6. I'm very happy to have a good use for the CCI primers.

I don’t have any fancy powders, but that kind of supports having the correct powder / primer combo for good results.

Guess I need to load some tac with the new batch of 41's and compare to the old lot.

Normally I wouldn't have this powder either, but in the current lunacy, 8 lb jugs of VV were WAY cheaper than Hodgdon Powders. We bought 32 lbs.

It was a stupid price difference. 10-15 Dollars per pound cheaper. We couldn't NOT buy it.

I got a similar deal on some N-540 yesterday. It was $15 a pound less than Varget and it performs just as good, maybe even better, in my application.

Bruno's shooters supply. This was a few "in stock" notifications back, but they're always getting stuff. Most prices are absurd, but Every so often there's a good buy.
