It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

Yes, you disagree with me, so I am bad. I understand your world view.
It’s hard for me to take someone seriously when this their approach to life:
“It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.“
See? It’s a two-way street.

I have trouble accepting that the supreme court will let it stand.
This has nothing to do with people posting weird conspiracy theories and everything to do with the leftist cabal fearing they may lose their strangehold on social media (and the fact that Fox News is decimating their talking heads).
The left has nothing to lose at this point. Unless every Repub stays home in Nov. the senate will flip hard and Congress will be a majority R. No more f#!$ing Jan 6 committee, no more Comrade Pelosi figurehead.
The only hope is to literally do a Bagdad Bob and hope enough idiots believe them.

Kinda feels like an information warfare version of the House Un-American Activities Committee.
I came across an article recently, written in 2017, that introduced me to the phrase the "Blue Church."
https://medium.com/deep-code/underst...h-e4781b2bd9b5
It doesn't describe explicitly as a left-leaning philosophy. Rather, it's a way of describing a cabal of powerful networks like government, academia, entertainment, and mass media. The goal of the blue church is to establish and reinforce "good opinion" amongst the population and establish a dominant cultural force. The problem, as described by the author, is that the blue church is failing to function in an era where it can no longer control a single narrative. The counter-force is independent information nodes and networks (including forums like this one) that are able to analyze and provide effective counter narratives.
The stuff we're seeing now, like this DHS-backed "disinformation" council, represents the panicked thrashing of a power mechanism that's losing relevance and is grasping to hold on.
What’s their enforcement mechanism? This feels like it going to be a second helping of press briefings, and releases.

And if we do make it to the election and that happens, do you really think the Republicans are going to get rid of this thing? Or will they just put their own person in charge? Because now it good, because the GOP is running the Congress?
When the Left is in charge, they do anything they want. When the Right is in charge, they don’t repeal ANYTHING the Left put into place, the Left still gets most everything they want (in the spirit of bipartisanship of course), and they pick up exactly where they left off when they get control back again.
They only losers in this whole deal is the American people.
