If I remember correctly, the test case for NFA that made it the the high court was an automatic win because defendants side for the hillbilly moonshiner that got busted with a sawed of shotgun didn't show up.

And if we do make it to the election and that happens, do you really think the Republicans are going to get rid of this thing? Or will they just put their own person in charge? Because now it good, because the GOP is running the Congress?

When the Left is in charge, they do anything they want. When the Right is in charge, they don’t repeal ANYTHING the Left put into place, the Left still gets most everything they want (in the spirit of bipartisanship of course), and they pick up exactly where they left off when they get control back again.
