I agree about the yellow Nylok that Magpul uses on their grip screws. It's too hard considering that it's meant to interface with aluminum threads. I'd prefer the old blue Nylok patch that they used previously, or maybe the red Nylok patch found on mil-spec A1 stock screws. The blue and red Nylok patches are much softer and more suited to use with aluminum threads.

Finally got around to ordering a bunch of the SOLGW grip screws. No bulk discount was applied though, at least it didn't show up on the order confirmation email.

So be warned, you probably won't get a discount.

You have to type BULK for the discount code.
    You won't outvote the corruption.

Where do they mention that? Haha, I'm always out of the loop on stuff like that.

That doesn't work either, maybe it did once a upon a time. Personally I'd contact them directly if you trying to get any "bulk" pricing.

Teflon tape makes a good thread locker on a grip screw.

According to SOLGW it's anything more than one.

Lol, I should have chose my words better because I only ordered 10. I'll get more after I get a chance to see them myself IF they pass my inspection.

I think 10 is a good number to start just to make sure they are all consistent comparing them to each other. I got a small number of pistol grip screws years ago from PSA that failed that simple check... Just terrible quality.
