Issues with current Colt rifle quality are BS perpetrated and regurgitated by gun-store/internet commandos.
The "Colt isnt good anymore" BS started because newer Colts have different markings on them than they used to. Some people see that as an indicator that quality has gone down. When you point out that the only constant in Colt markings is that they change them all the time, they don't have anything else to say. There has been no actual evidence that Colt rifles are any less reliable than they used to be.

No dude is going to get shot in the chest at 300 yards and look down and say "What is that, a 3 MOA group?"
Benelli, Beretta, Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson, Walther, Remington, and Ruger have all had safety recalls. A recall doesn't make them all junk.
Remember when this thread was about an FN Tac3??
Stopped at a LGS today and they had a Tac3 in stock so I got to handle it a bit While I did like the rail and grip was pretty nice, overall I wasnt impressed. Its a beautiful rifle but the ambi-safety was plastic and interfered with my trigger hand when on fire. Also hated the stock and the trigger was heavy and gritty.
