    Ouch.

Russian BTR-80's and Ground Forces Engage In Intense Firefight

    https://funker530.com/video/russian-...nse-firefight/

"One thing I found interesting about this footage is how many of these troops are representing the Soviet Union flag on their shoulder, opposed to their standard white, blue, and red flag. This isn't the first instance we have seen the Soviet Union flag being flaunted throughout the Ukraine-Russia conflict, but this footage is quite different in nature.

Really, these patches could be motivational, historical, etc., but to me it is quite odd that an entire unit is seen wearing them in unison. "

The Soviet flag reeks of taunting, given that IIRC the worst treatment of Ukraine by Russia was during the Evil Empire.

    More bad news for tanks:

The Russians Lost Nearly An Entire Battalion Trying To Cross A River In Eastern Ukraine

The better part of a Russian army battalion—50 or so vehicles and up to a thousand troops—in recent days tried to cross a pontoon bridge spanning the Siverskyi Donets River, running west to east between the separatist provinces of Donetsk and Luhansk in eastern Ukraine.

Ukrainian artillery caught them at the river bank—and destroyed them. The rapid destruction of around three dozen tanks and other armored vehicles, along with the bridge itself, underscores Russia’s deepening woes as its troops try, and fail, to make meaningful gains in eastern Ukraine’s Donbas region.

I wonder if we’re seeing the end of tanks as we know it given drones and MANPAD’s.

I’m not saying they have no place. But Ukraine has been very eye opening on what a near peer could do with no armored against armor and capable modern tank weapons.

    God Bless,

That was supposed to be the lesson from the Six Days War with the action of air/missiles in the Sinai, right? Terrain, tactics, teamwork, technical(gear)- the Russians did it all wrong.

If I had time I'd go to the Hobbystore and Russian T-XX tank, assemble the model and then wrap the turret to the Chassis with duct tape...
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.
