If it's not a dent in your living budget, and it fits the bill for your uses, it's not a terrible option. I think Sportsmans wanted .50 per round for what amounted to XM193 in a pretty 20 round box.
I'm optimistic like Bimmer that price drops are just an election away. Most everyone else says these are just the new price levels.
