I’m calling bullshit on this. In this day and age, when kids are considered heroes among their peers for coming out as transgender, and he got picked on simply for wearing eyeliner?? Not buying it. This is just an attempt to make him into as much of a victim as the kids he killed, rather than the monster he was. The “bullied kids who snap” trope has been thoroughly debunked; most of the school shooters turned out to be bullies themselves, rather than victims of bullying. Besides, this guy didn’t attack his own school; he murdered elementary school kids. I see no connection between that and him responding to bullying by his peers.
