Ring height for Bergara HMR

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question so please move it if need be.
I have a Bergara HMR arriving next week and I ordered nightforce 1 piece 20 moa steel base part A115.
I have a 50mm objective NXS to put on it and no place local to me sells nightforce rings. I’m trying to figure out what ring height will give me about a .25” gap from barrel to bell. I’m thinking the medium 1” high rings but want to be sure before shelling out $190 for rings.

It's easier to make a watch from scratch than it is to figure out ring heights. Every manufacturer has a different way of measuring their wonderful product. I pray for you.

I have this exact setup. HMR/NXS 5.5-20x50/NF 20 moa Steel base.

I used NF 4 screw Low Ultralite rings.

Thanks. About how much clearance do you have? I have the Nightforce flip up caps and I want to be able to rotate them

Probably about a quarter inch. I can measure it exactly this evening.
