New SureFire muzzle device - A2 birdcage that can mount their suppressors

I haven't seen this before, so this must have came out within the past few months.

Any thoughts on this? The A2 is a pretty good muzzle device, so does this make the CTN flash hider obsolete?

For the same price as a CTN, my guess is that it’s only be useful if you need a standard BFA. Though it would be interesting if it’d work with a Halo or other can that is A2 mountable.

Standard A2 has 2 rings behind the birdcage, the SF one only has one, not sure how those cans mount.

Looks like at 1.9" it's .4" shorter than the CTN (2.3"). That will please some, I'm sure. A neat alternative. Although, it looks like the weight is heavier than the CTN by .3oz.

They sure are proud of that one. I don't recall my Warcomp being that pricey but maybe it was. That was before Biden and gas wasn't $6/gallon so maybe they went up in price.

The A2 is less effective than the phantom style at flash reduction but I think it will hold up to erosion better.
