I’ve seen this on Qs social media for a long time. Idk I’m not sold. They try to push it for subsonic hunting, I don’t do that so I don’t care.

I do really like 300blk subsonic suppressed out of a vsbr. But obviously that a niche.

If it's not 5.56 out of KAC, BCM, or DD, a lot of posters here hate it by default. If it doesn't suit their needs, it's useless garbage. If any government agency thinks otherwise, it must be a conspiracy to embezzle taxpayer money. Really wish people could learn the concept of "to each their own."

And I say that as someone who couldn't care less about 8.6 BLK.
It's f*****g great, putting holes in people, all the time, and it just puts 'em down mate, they drop like sacks of s**t when they go down with this.

Not gunna lie, I forgot about the .338 Spectre. Now I wonder why they went AR10 with their Spectre clone? On paper they appear to do the same thing, now that I just refreshed myself on the Spectre. I did notice that one guy on TOS made it sound like it was hard to fit the right amount of powder in the Spectre with a Sierra 300gr. Maybe the 8.6 is made to have more room for copper monolithic projectiles, hence the fast twist?

Yeah, 147gr 9mm is cheap and does what I need it to mostly. And 147gr hollowpoints are by default designed to work at that velocity if I decide to smoke a deer with it. The subsonic BC of a 300gr .338 is kinda intriguing though. Something I never asked for, but I am curious.

It seems dislike for new rnds in the norm. Some times it's warranted and some times it's not perhaps.

it's business. Just have a influencer say sky-high optic mounting is vogue and they're sold out. Same as glock generations, just change a grip texture and in comes gen6.

I'm going to start loading my 7.62 x 39 with pistol powder and call it the Commie Whisper.

What is funny is that back in 1986, IMI came out with the .41 Action Express, which might have been the perfect middle ground between 9mm and .45 rounds and everyone ignored it. Then a few years later S&W came out with their .40 and it was the second coming.

I was just thinking this won’t do a lot my 458 won’t in an AR15 sized package.

    Thump thump thump

Not for me but I’m sure someone will find a use for it and all the more power to them.

    Choice is good.
