Yeah, but that's only because pussies couldn't handle a real round, the 10mm.

Isn't the 300blk basically the 300 whisper that was popular for a minute?

They also have an optimized supersonic designed for 12" barrels.

So it's like 300blk in the sense that you can go from supers to subs on a whim.

The youtuve paid morons will start promoting to load the hype train. I will stick with 6.8. Really need to fortify what you have unless your collecting and burning money.

I wasn’t sure if he was referring to the 8.6 or the 6.8.
In any case, I’ll stick with 5.56 and 308.

So 8.6 has gotten some traction. Does seem to have some interesting performance characteristics. I will never own one as niche rnds don't interest me personally, but I enjoy nerding out on bullet tech. Will it catch on for similar reasons the 300 BLK has? The UDT-SEAL Museum is raffling off two 8.6 guns, one AR based and one bolt action. You can swap out .308 AR10 barrel for a 8.6 and be GTG apparently if one want to try 8.6 without buying the full gun.

This guy is hunting centric info wise:

And you get impressive ballistics from shorter barrels like the 300, but a lot more oomph. I'm starting too see why the 8.6, like the 300, has some applications for the right shooter, and is not just BS. Check that out:
