And if you think that's metric that matters most, you clearly not well versed in the topic of terminal ballistics. I'm no DocGR on the topic, I but I'm well versed on the topic compared to most.

Indeed, and a vid posted here where 7.5 barrel AR went through BA like nothing, and still resulted in good penetration. That too, ignored here. Even minus any hydrostatic wounding mechanisms, the 5.56 7.5" with proper loads at any SD/HD distances then some, is far superior to any pistol, any pistol carbine and any PDW I'm aware of, and anyone at this juncture who legit can't "get" that at this point, needs to go back and research the topic vs telling what a bad idea it is to use it for that use. That one can put it in a basic backpack, etc, is an obvious advantage to other options.

Conclusion, don't use that rnd perhaps. Others I have seen performed quite well.

Do not agree. See #142 for additional info.

I don't, will consider for sure. Any drawbacks as to function or reliability issues to consider or are they GTG?

Other than the obvious you can’t shoot them folded, I’ve never looked at different designs for weakness. I don’t think I’ve heard of any failures or problems but it’s not something I have researched either.

Seems worth looking into if minimal size is a major objective.

It's on my radar and would further reduce the size, but as is, fits in a med sized back back and requires no fiddling under pressure etc to use.

Your only selling point is defeating body armor, and ammo availability, but now youre pigeon-holeing yourself to a couple specific loads?
