Not to get too far off topic, but just a correction on how active hearing pro works. Electronic hearing pro amplifies conversation level of sound, and then shuts off the amplification when it detects sounds over a certain dB level, such as a gun shot. It does not suddenly turn on sound attenuation when it detects a loud noise. Electronic hearing pro attenuates the same amount of sound either way. I hope I explained that to where it makes sense.

I'll take "How do you tell us that you have too many guns and suppressors without telling us you have too many guns and suppressors?" for $1000, Alex.

I know how they work but some part of me never believes they are working to prevent the . Obviously amplification oh external sounds not high db/gun shots depends on your settings.

Im almost certain the amplificatiin cant reach damaging levels.
Its not an open gate, its a wall with a telephone line, the db reduction is always there.

I hear ya. It's funny that it's actually mandatory in the UK to use in certain hunting situations due to noise restrictions. The fact that it is restricted here in anyway is stupid. If it's not a firearm, why is the ATF even involved anyway? If it is, then the 2nd Amendment should apply.

Agreed 100%. The idea of having to pay a special tax for a firearm component is dangerously close to why there was a revolution. Obviously not the entire part, but a tax on a right is incredibly unconstitutional. Our forefathers had cannons and cavalry, which were the most damage dealing (WMD) style of equipment of the day. The 2nd needs to be looked at again by a court which isn't worried about "feelings".

I seem to recall that there were some impressively equipped privateers.

I’ll be using a Silencerco Velos as soon as it gets out of jail.

While it won’t help Will unless he gets another can, for a someone wanting a can with no barrel length restrictions, FA rated and when you run out of ammo you can beat the piss out of someone with it and win, look into the SiCo Chimera. It is not light, it is on the shorter side without being K can, suppresses well (about same “sound level” as an Omega 30 with a bit deeper tone), average blowback and built like an f-ing tank. It has actually become my favorite can on my SBRs because I know it can take it and more than I am giving it.

I am at the point where I don't have an issue with the $200 fee, but the nearly 1 year wait time is inexcusable. It takes considerably less time for the Govt to complete a secret clearance investigation.
