It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.
Chuck, we miss ya man.

There were rumors that Windham Weaponry was going to do a proper A2, but fixed carry handle forgings seem to be in short supply these days.
Not all of the Colt HBAR barrels had a chrome lined bore. Would depend on the model and year.
That might make a difference to you one way or the other?
Personally - I would trade an FN double chrome lined, 'machine gun steel', gov profile, 20" off for an Unlined, Colt 20" HBAR in a heartbeat.
Just buy an A4 barrel and slap it on.
But then you'd have an "F" height FSB and that wouldn't be clone correct.
Seriously, a Windham 20" A2 barrel and an RRA upper are the easiest way to get to a pretty decent A2 clone.
Just might have to play around with different lowers to get one to fit right with the RRA upper.

Can't speak for Euro, for me the negligible difference of the F base would be NBD but I'm not willing to pay for an HBAR Colt (especially considering it's other AWB deficiencies) just to swap in an A4 barrel.
For me it would be less about clone correct and more about a simple 20" rifle that I can't easily slap an optic onto in a moment of weakness.
I'd just like an easy button, duty grade A2. I'm not familiar enough with Fulton (or others) to know if they fit the bill.
Go Ukraine! Piss on the Russian dead.
