    HK 93

Saw an ad from a private seller with a long list of pistols and some rifles. There was an HK 93. I asked for a few pics and when I received them decided to buy it. Made in 1975. Came with several mags (although I don’t have high hopes for the proMag).
    Price was $ 880

As a teenager who was corrupted reading Soldier of Fortune and Gung-Ho, I've always thought that was a sexy carbine.

I remember in the mid-90s wandering around a Thai military base, walking into a warehouse and seeing dozens of brand-new HK33s on the racks.

    Congrats on the new acquisition!

Id drop $880 today for one of those. How much would those be in the US? $3k+?
Why do the loudest do the least?

They're going for $3k to $4.5K in the U.S. depending on configuration.

Surprisingly, the ProMags run 100% in my MKE Z-43.

Very nice early blue grey. While it won't be correct technically, you will want a wide tropical handguard for it. Adds almost no weight and keeps your paws off that hot trunnion.

Also not sure if the trigger group is original, finish doesn't match and I think all early 93s were 0 - 01 designations.

It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.
