Jane Roe was a very troubled person, I would lend no credence to her pro abortion or pro life positions.

She was. She did go to the pro-life side, but there are accusations she was bought by so called "unscrupulous" evangelicals. She also changed her religion, and copped to taking the money and mouthing the pro-life words on her death bed, but just really wanted the "help" money. She was all over the place. But I suppose it all makes good press for both sides.
