Explain to me why then, out of 6M Ukrainian refugees 2M willingly relocated to Russia (according to the official UN report)? This does not take into account those who willingly remained on Russian controlled territories. Maybe they didn't get Zelenski's memo?

Ukrainians had and still have uninhibited access to relocate to European countries. I read somewhere that they are automatically given a 3 year residency status. This is an official statistics submitted by individual countries. Why would Russia report "unwilling" refugees? They could chose Europe, Western Ukraine, Russia, or stay (at least in the regional vicinity) of their own residence. A good 1/3 chose Russia.

If you think that such term as "unwilling refugee" exists, you'd have to clarify that with UN on how they do the counting. Maybe somebody from the press can do a report of why those Ukrainians chose Russia and not Europe or other 80% of Ukraine, but I doubt you'll ever see that being reported because it does not fit the narrative.


I would also ask Zelenskyy that, but he's meeting with all the right and critical people such as Jessica Chastain, Ben Stiller, Sean Penn, Liev Schreiber, and Angelina Jolie. It looks like Zelenskyy is doing the casting of who's going to play him and his wife in a movie. I'm anxious to see that.

You offered a report that suggests it's far from willing by the language used, made up your own logic why they did it willingly, and there's no lack of articles and reports of the Russians forcing Ukrainians in areas they control to be relocated to Russia, which if I post, you will just claim is propaganda. Only source I have seen claiming Ukrainians going to Russia willingly is from the Russians, but of course they don't do propaganda... For others here who care:

Fact is Russia has declining population numbers and has a long history of abducting large numbers of people from the countries they invade. Add in that other that Russia's big cities the standard of living in Ukraine was much better than in most of Russia. Common sense dictates that the no matter what they say the majority of those relocated did not go willingly.
