F-35 over Poland can transmit data to Soviet MiG-29 over Ukraine

    https://bulgarianmilitary.com/2023/0...-over-ukraine/

WARSAW, POLAND — An exercise over Europe could provide an unexpectedly good combination to help the Ukrainian Air Force. It is a joint work on the transfer of data between the American stealth fighter of the fifth generation F-35 Lightning II and the Soviet fighter of the fourth generation MiG-29. Realistically, the F-35 could become a key player in Eastern Europe and the war in Ukraine.
    Neat!

Having Russian tech be able to access information from our premiere fighter aircraft, that is so fat and slow that with out stealth and communications, would be a sitting duck target. What could go wrong?
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

Without going into an academic level discussion about the F-35’s current capabilities, let’s just say it will be great at either guiding the older migs away from danger or helping them avoid detection by enemy fighters altogether by keeping them outside the targeting/detection envelopes and helping to set them up for better quality intercepts possibly allowing them to get missile launches off before the drunks, uh I mean the Russians can detect them.

This is exactly WHY we won't let Turkey have any currently.

They would gain tracking and targeting experience with their Russian systems in a heartbeat.

At this point in the procurement process, compared to other legacy programs we had lost more F-4's, F-14's, F-15 and F-16's than F-35's... but you don't want to hear that now do you?

I guess Putin's newsletter didn't tell you that now did it?

The 'B' in F-35B is for: Boondoggle.

Pretty sad when things like LANDING those in perfect weather conditions seems to be somehow a 'challenge' for us.

You know Russia has to be laughing their asses of at the recent crash videos...

Zelensky himself was not so certain, saying that Kiev was awaiting more deliveries of weapons and ammunition from the West, and calling the situation on the front “unfavorable.”

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba has urged the US and its allies to continue sending Ukraine weapons and money, even if the offensive doesn’t achieve 100% of its objectives. Meanwhile, his deputy Andrey Melnik told the German outlet Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung that the attack isn’t quite ready just yet.

“We don’t want to start a counteroffensive until we’re prepared,” he said. “We have approximately 50-60 Western tanks now, but the Russians have been able to produce ten tanks a day. This means we will be unable to achieve a decisive advantage on the battlefield for a long time to come.”
    '50-60 western tanks' - LOL

Meanwhile Russia continues their advances in Bakhmut...

Wagner fighters have significantly intensified the onslaught on Ukrainian positions in the city of Bakhmut. While the Ukrainian military has reinforced the grouping on the outskirts, furiously fighting to prevent the Russians from encircling the city, Wagner has relied on direct assaults on the city streets.

In the north of Bakhmut, after taking control of the non-ferrous Metals Plant, Wagner’s assault groups continue mop operations in the industrial zone and adjacent territories. Clashes broke out in the Selische district along Levanevsky Street.

In the center of the city, after taking control of the central market area, Russian fighters stormed Ukrainian positions along Nizhnyaya Street. Fighting is approaching the city administration district.
In the south of Bakhmut, the districts of Sobachevka and Budenovka came under full Russian control. Wagner fighters moved the front to the north of Shirokaya and Mariupol Streets, approaching the city center from the south.
    And elsewhere -

Amid the increasing risk of encirclement, the Ukrainian authorities banned journalists and volunteers from entering Avdiivka. City services were evacuated. Mobile phone communications were reportedly cut off in the city to prevent pro-Russian citizens from reporting data on the location of Ukrainian positions on the streets.

In recent days, Russian units managed to advance in Marinka. After being surrounded from two sides, the Ukrainian forces were forced to retreat from the strongholds in the church and some administration buildings in the central district of the city.

Ukrainian facilities came under another massive attack by Russian missiles and drones.

Over the past day, at least six explosions thundered in Kharkov. Some military targets in the Sumy region and in the city of Slavyansk were destroyed. A power facility was hit in Kramatorsk. Several Russian missiles struck Zaporozhye. Local authorities reported that an infrastructure facility was damaged. Local sources also reported explosions in the Chernihiv and Poltava regions.
Looks like we are going to need to print some more money soon to help maintain all the 'WINNING' that USkraine has been doing lately!
