Russia continues to "destroy" Ukraine USV drones by letting them hit their ships. With this and the KILO Russia is down two cruise missile launchers. The Samum is one of two hovercraft missile launchers in the Russian Navy.

First picture of the Russian corvette "Samum" being towed back to port by tugs after it was struck by Ukrainian naval drones.

The Russian Black Sea Fleet is taking a serious beating right now

    ***UPDATE***

Appears to confirm Samum was hit

Caution that #Russian Navy often tows ships in to port including these Bora Class missile boats

However the stern is low, supporting reports it was hit and damaged by a #Ukrainian USV

Russian authorities will now be able to send deaf, oligophrenic and schizophrenic people to the front line

Yesterday, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu approved a list of diseases with which citizens will not be able to serve under contract during mobilization, martial law and wartime. The list consists of 26 points, including HIV, hepatitis B and C, diabetes mellitus, all forms of active tuberculosis, drug addiction, lack of limbs or a kidney.

However, many serious diseases were not on the list. Now people with heart defects, hearing loss, schizophrenia and oligophrenia will be sent to the front to die for the tsar.

As Russian opposition politician Mikhail Khodorkovsky noted, this order was created so that more "volunteers" could be recruited from prisons. That is, now not just Russian prisoners, but seriously ill Russian prisoners will fight in Ukraine. From the point of view of an ordinary person, this is incredible cynicism. But the Russian command does not care who they will send to war.

Not much different than Russia in WW2. People are mission expendable assets.

And they have deployed Barrier troops as they did in WW2 for the same reasons and purpose. That's how they deal with poor moral.

Images have leaked (presumably by shipyard workers) of the Russian Improved Kilo–class attack submarine Rostov na Donu (B-237), hit by a Ukrainian cruise missile strike in the Sevastopol Shipyard drydocks.

    Damage is catastrophic.

Probably trying to conceal the time of day, people around, etc to reduce the risk of the photographer being identified.

Russia just passed a law making it illegal to take pictures of war damage I believe just after the last Kerch bridge attack, something like 10-15 years in prison. Being this is Crimea likely there are some Ukraine sympathizers working in that shipyard.

"Poland will no longer arm Ukraine to focus on its own defense,"

"Poland will no longer arm Ukraine to focus on its own defense,"

In surprisingly blunt and terse words given to reporters on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Polish President Andrzej Duda said on Tuesday: "Ukraine is behaving like a drowning person clinging to anything available."

He then said, "A drowning person is extremely dangerous, capable of pulling you down to the depths … simply drown the rescuer." Given Ukraine's battlefield losses and as it's currently bogged down in a failing counteroffensive, the words no doubt stung.

"Poland will no longer arm Ukraine to focus on its own defense," Polish prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced just hours after Warsaw summoned Ukraine's ambassador related to a fresh war of words and spat over blocked grain, according to the AFP.
That grain 'deal' now has their neighbors pretty well pissed off and putting their foot down on that crap. Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia all gave the big middle finger to the EU dictats.

The Ukrainian government announced on Monday that it would bring a case against the three countries at the World Trade Organization (WTO), after they announced unilateral bans on the import of Ukrainian seeds and grains. Earlier this summer, the EU allowed five Eastern European nations to block the import of these products for domestic sale, but refused to reauthorize the ban on Friday. As a result, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia imposed bans of their own.
More and more 'neighbors' and 'allies' are declining to hurt themselves to help USkraine, (that number is not going to get smaller as we go forward)

The Ukrainian government proposes that prisoners generate electricity by pedaling bicycles.

Such a bill was registered by People's Deputy Sergei Grivko (Servant of the People).

He proposed allowing prisoners to produce electricity using bicycle generators in exchange for a shorter prison sentence.

“If within a month they comply with the standards determined by the Ministry of Justice, then the term of imprisonment will be reduced by 3 days, but not more than 10 months per year. That is, over the course of a year, a prisoner can reduce the term of imprisonment by 30 days. This will directly affect the savings on his content – up to approximately 8% (up to 200 million in UAH),” writes Grivko.
