Current tank losses confirmed by photo and video, 1646 to 449. Ukraine is likely somewhat underreported because they post a lot more photos/vids than the Russikes but still they are ahead.
Russian Tanks (1646, of which destroyed: 967, damaged: 75, abandoned: 59, captured: 545)

I think you are looking at this the wrong way, it's not a straight numbers game, Russia is replacing losses with Soviet era T-62's. Ukraine is replacing losses with Western MBT's that were always better than the Russian stuff look up the battle of 73 Easting. Of course the trick will be if they can employ them effectively in a combined arms assault with Western IFV's.

The Ukrainian military has confirmed to Agence France-Presse (AFP) that it has withdrawn from the town of Soledar, a key point of resistance in the battle for Donbass. The Russian Defense Ministry had reported taking full control of the settlement by the evening of January 12.
“After months of heavy fighting, including over the past weeks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine left [Soledar] and retreated along the outskirts to pre-prepared positions,” military spokesman Sergey Cherevaty told the news outlet.
At least they did not try to call it an 'evacuation' this time...
We are going to see a lot of burning hulls of Leopard and Abrams tanks…
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.
It's that simple.
While raw number count is important, percent of the overall force is too.
It sounds like Putin is going full Czar and looking to turn this into WWI style trench warfare. He keeps on rolling back his time frame on tactics, horse charges are next.

Russia has continued to be a major supplier of tanks to Ukraine.
Edit: its important to note that Oryx only reports geolocated photo confirmed losses. They periodically scrub what they believe to be duplicates. So, actual numbers, on both sides, are likely to be higher, although the age of cellphones means that the discrepancy is likely to be minor. It is also likely that every captured tank is photo documented, so the numbers will be very close to spot on. What the raw numbers won’t show is how serviceable captured tanks are, or how much time, money, and man-hours it will take to make them serviceable again.
