No, but probably better built and basically the same operating system. Based on the IMI Galil ARM .308 I'd never buy an ACE in .308. But I did finally remember which one was actually worse than the Galil ARM .308 and that was when I had a HK51. Looked awesome, printed like a 12 gauge shooting buckshot at 400 yards.

I love my Tavor, granted it’s the only product they produce that I own but that one is gtg as far as I am concerned.

IDF has many maintenance issues with Tavor. I am not saying it is terrible, just more complicated than M16, which is part of the bullpup world

Yep I can absolutely see that as a potential issue.

When I clean mine I usually have to think a bit harder than I do with an AR.

IMI/IWI has always suffered from having some idiots working there.

The one gun they inherited and couldn't think enough to have it evolve to where it should be was the Uzi.

IWI makes the Zion AR-15 right here in America. It's a solid rifle at a decent price. It was named rifle of the year by these guys.

Competition for MR762 on the cheap? I don't know, it's probably not better than a decent AR10, so what's the point? Just to have an entry into the market?
