    Government pressuring corporations on guns

    Mark LaRue shared this.

We should have a list of companies that are pressured, by government representatives, banks, their employees, or other entities/individuals, to cease supplying goods or services with firearms companies.

This is how we lose. Let’s say LaRue, BCM, FN, Colt, PSA, Remington, and others have to use some sort of specialized transport…economy of scale becomes null. The cost for simple items becomes gradually unreachable for average people.

Manufacturers need to step up and say, we can no longer fulfill government contracts if the governments are restricting the logistics. No local, state, or federal agency is going to send their own vehicles to pick up an order from across the country, violating their own commerce regulations (CDL and commercial goods transport) to keep resupplied. Unfortunately, it will take a concerted effort for the suppliers to stand up and do so, Colt and Glock definitely won’t, and I doubt ammo manufacturers will either.

None of the companies that get .gov contracts will, they’re too lucrative as opposed to just selling to us peons.

The US firearms industry is about 65% private and 35% .gov.

Think it was S&B where Larry Vickers did a video in the last 5 years that mentioned their sales having app. that ratio.

Pre 2001, US firearms industry was app. 80% private/20% .gov which was the same ratio one of the late 1990s Glock annuals listed as their sales when they(for all practical purposes) were sans any similar functioning competitors.

Never have seen it specified if the ratio is dollars or units. If units, the percentage of their business from the private sector is much larger.

I think this misses the point. Non-firearms companies are, for some reason, choosing to no longer do business with firearms companies. If this is truly more than one company, as LaRue suggests, then something is happening behind the scenes.

Exactly. And these firearms companies need to stand up together and say to governments, you won’t get your stuff because you have pushed an agenda and nobody will Deliver it to you now. Parts, supplies, and complete assemblies can’t be picked up by common carriers, and nobody (governments) will be able to pick up everything themselves. Imagine if these companies did the same with abortion supplies…..

Anyone able to connect the dots on this? We have heard about this before and it never seems pan out. Not saying people are lying, just the 'telephone' effect happening.
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.
