Exclamation Bill Gates Cleared to Buy Another 2,700 Acres of Farmland in North Dakota

“Why would an entrenched climate change ideologue who wants to change food production be purchasing over a quarter million acres of prime farmland?”

He's got a long way to go to top John Malone, or even Ted Turner. 2100 acres in N.D. isn't that big of a parcel.

“Bringing Total Ownership to 270,000 Acres” is the part you missed.

He is planning on investing in soy or whatever the "impossible" burgers are made from. Cows burp and fart, meat is bad . Another change on the horizon. Many food processing plants have mysteriously burned down. Agenda 2030 yall

I didn't miss it, I just didn't comment on it. It is still miniscule in the big scope of things and it is spread throughout the U.S. Even if that 270,000 acres was entire in ND, it would represent .7% of agricultural land in ND. I'm not a defender of Bill Gates, but if he was looking to take over food production or some other nefarious act, he has the money to buy lots more.

I'm no defender of Bill Gates either. There is approximately 915,000,000 acres of farm land in the US.

Very little of his land is in the areas known for investments.

What? If I may be so bold, nobody here trusts Bill Gates. We're just not running with the idea that Gates is conspiring to do some nefarious thing on this one. Time will tell I suppose. He may have other resons for these purchases that we just don't know about. Time will tell on that one too.

I don't know what the sports reference is about.

Not nothing, but I’m more interested in where he is putting his money in general. May be more of an inflation hedge than anything else, plus he can probably get first tit on govt money…
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.
