Big drawback was always the blowback and how dirty the gun would get so quickly. Is that any better these days with newly introduced suppressors like these?
"Why "zombies"? Because calling it 'training to stop a rioting, starving, panicking, desperate mob after a complete governmental financial collapse apocalypse' is just too wordy." or in light of current events: training to stop a rioting, looting, molotov cocktail throwing, skinny jeans wearing, uneducated bunch of lemmings duped by, or working directly for, a marxist organization attempting to tear down America while hiding behind a race-based name

I think this point is way over blown. I run many many guns suppressed all the time and rarely clean them. They would be going in for one engagement and back home that night to clean them. War fighters could start that argument but I’m sure they would like to save their ears.

The new suppressors are better, new ammo etc, but you still are going to get your gun dirty but it’s supposed to run dirty.

Weight and Bolt speed are the big draw back. With correct gas, blow back/Gas/Bolt speed are very manageable. The newer gen cans that are literally HALF the weight of the old way of thinking are WAY friggin better.

Everyone used to buy cans on Db reduction and Full Auto rating. The two WORST criteria for a suppressor. Lighter, over-bored cans are SO much nicer to run.

It seems the prospect of a single call out resulting in the medical retirement due to hearing loss of an entire entry team is being given serious consideration, not to mention the cumulative effect after years of noise exposure during training.

Titanium? Really? Who's making the decisions over there?

I guess a qual or two a year they will be fine, not like y'all do any real shooting beyond that anyways.

As previously discussed, that particular can has 17-4 core and may not have the same limitations as a full Ti unit.
