Plus one. I have ordered multiple times from both companies. They will work hard to make sure all goes well.

    Arrow

I have a Botach feedback thread over at TOS' EE forum.

Like a lot of other people, I got an e-mail flyer advertising pmags for something like $12 two weeks before the election.

Of course I pounced on that and placed an order on 10/30/08. At which time my card was charged.

Then, last week, Botach sent out the e-mail (referenced by the OP) cancelling all open PMAG orders.

Haven't gotten them yet. But I was told they were on the way.

Let me say this about Botach ... I understand they have a "colorful" history (google Efraim Botach) and have lots of negative, even scathing feedback @ TOS and other consumer complaint websites (pissedoffconsumer is pretty entertaining reading ).

But, if they have an item in stock ... they usually have some pretty darn good prices and quick turnaround. If they don't have an item in stock, or if they arrange for drop ship direct from the manufacturer, it can be a pretty frustrating experience.

So, I shop there whilst managing my expectations now. That's one thing Botach could do a little better ... manage expectations and be more proactive about doing the right thing (not charging before they know they have something in stock).

If you want it faster or deal with someone you can rely on ... go with Grant and other vendors who might be advertising here.
