Just checked and it looks like by rebate was mailed out July 15. Right at 10-weeks. Now I have to start watching my mail.
My local LGS says that they can't get the CORE guns. So tempting to order a couple of them...

Sure they can. They're just choosing not to. You can literally order one from any of these distributors.

    I know

I like to give the LGS a chance, but I'm not going to do the work for them.

Ordered one from Atlantic... I won't be home much, so just getting it picked up will be a challenge.

    None of those are wholesalers.

I saw some posts online that these were out of stock, so I emailed Atlantic and they responded back first thing this morning that they are still looking at the 7-14 days to ship out that the invoice I recieved said. I don't think it was an actual invoice, since I don't think it has hit my credit card yet.

So all those retailers can buy from the wholesalers, but not this particular LGS? I don’t believe that. Even if they were not available from wholesalers, there’s no shame in buying from another retailer in order to satisfy your customer.

And an hour later I got a shipping notice…

All of the wholesalers are out of stock, only distributors actually have them in stock. Most LGS don't want to pay a markup from a distributor, it costs enough to be a FFL without paying the same price as everyone else.

This is why I still don't have a SP5, not a single one of my wholesalers has managed to get one yet, they seem to be going directly to some of the bigger distributors.

Also if the LGS isn't making any money, it's not really their customer. If I sell Gun A at $500 based upon a FFL price of $425 but none of my wholesalers have any, why on earth would I order one from a distributor for $498? And if you suggest a transfer fee of even 10% that "customer" will balk because you'd be gouging them for $548.

Customers are just fine with a LGS making only $2 on a sale, but ask them to pay 10% above what they see online and they will cry across the internet.

Picked my k-ish version today and put a brace that I had for two years while I waited for a real HK. Really happy so far, except for a REALLY stiff safety.
