    Norma 6.5CM factory fresh

I bought a couple hundred rounds of Norma factory with 143g pills. Big part of my motivation was to stash away the brass for reloading. But has anyone shot this ammo? The 308 from Norma I bought has shot very well. Just curious but we will give range report in a couple weeks.

I've only shot the 223 brass and it has been very good. I wouldn't say Lapua good, but it was better than other brass in it's price range.

Agreed, Norma is known for having pretty good brass. We have used it in 308 & 300WM with great success.

We shot the 308 Norma but don't think we shot the 6.5 ammo yet. Will do this weekend.

We will test the Bergaras and the LMT MWS with these 143grain bullets, should be MOA or better.

    Norma 6.5CM factory fresh

I scrounged some .243 Win brass last weekend that looked great. Turns out it is Norma and seems like excellent brass.

I don’t load or shoot .243 so not sure what I’m going to do with it yet.

We shot this ammo with a two Bergara rifles, the LRP did a little better than the B14 Wilderness rifle, but not significantly. It held right at MOA. It shot great out to a thousand yards but fell apart at 1,300 yards, very odd. I mean destabilized and was allover the mountain. But inside a 1,000 yards it shot lights out. And made great reloading brass.

Yep. At 1300 yards it was calling for like 17 mils compared to our 140 gr ELDM load that's in the 14s if I remember right. The Norma is a great load for 1000 yards in from our limited testing.
