Published BCs for all Fusion/Gold Dots are nonsense, as is at least one of the TRU loadings. Generally donít trust published BCs, but especially Federal/Speer duty/defensive ammo.

I prefer the 64 grain Nosler bonded or 55 grain GDHP or 75 grain GDHP or MK262.

If Iím going barrier blind and for only that reason for my SBRs, I will stick with the 55 grain Speer GDHP.

I am intending to use the Black Hills 62gr Dual loading this year for deer. It looks very similar in gel.

This is Black Hills 62 grain TSX. If both were available would you still choose Dual Performance?

I remain a big fan of XM556FBIT3 62gr NATO TBBC, Hornady TAP 70gr gmx 5.56 NATO, and Hornady TAP 55gr gmx 5.56 NATO.

I've used all three (and others) out of my suppressed 11.5" to take hog and have been really pleased.

I wouldn't personally use the 55gr GMX out of a barrel longer than 14.5".

I obviously have over twice the amount of the FBI load as opposed to the GMX, but the choice would be a tough one as to which to choose.

The GMX is *supposedly* a knock-off of the TSX 70gr "brown-tip" 5.56 Optimized ammo. In theory a little less copper fouling as it's a gilding metal and not pure copper like the TSX. I think it would "fly" better than the FBI load because it's not a soft-point (i.e. a little more accurate at distance) but the XM556FBIT3M 62 gr Tactical Bonded is pretty good from what I've read.
