    Griffin Dual Lok (vs Keymount)

Unfortunately SF doesnt sell their mounting system, and I'd rather not cannibalize a warden to create a mount...
I was pretty set on Keymod for a machinegun, but the griffin looks interesting.
Anyone have experience yet? Any thoughts on the principal?

It's basically a taper mount that locks into AAC-style teeth after mounting to prevent the can from spinning loose.

The new GA system appears solid.

    What suppressor(s) ars you planning?

They have a HUB mount available for the dual lock.

I thought the approach was sound but wanted other opinions.

Its going on an r9 thats going on an m11/9.
I do like the Keymount micro break for this application. Hoping GA comes out with something similar, but I can always bore out their minimalist brake.

This will also be used on precision/prs rifles (223 gas gun and 6/6.5 creedmoor bolt). They will get a dedicated silencer later (same mounting) so precision is a factor.

I really love the SF method and with theyd sell adapters for it.

I just got a dual lok adapter and Paladin brake the other day. The suppressor it's going on is still in jail but I mocked it up with a form 1 can.

I like it better than keymo as far as I can tell in playing with it in the comfort of my living room. Once I get the other suppressor I'll run it and see how it works long term.

They never actually sued Dugan, so, out with it.

Since you have it, try heating it in the microwave to simulate suppressor use and please report back if the mount disconnects as advertised.

The founders of Griffin Armament worked both in the military and as contractors to the state department in diplomatic security roles. We have a first hand understanding of the sacrifices you make to our country.
