So initially you are supposed to turn the barrel nut to the 30 ft/lbs. No problem there.
Please note that I was using a bendy bar torque wrench.
Then you apply a centering jig and turn until it centers. According to the manual I'm not supposed to exceed 50 ft/lbs.
However it was impossible. It just wouldn't turn. So I ended up using 60 ft/lbs to center it.
It's all installed fine and all that, but now I'm concerned that I may have over-torqued and may launch the barrel flying if I fire it.
Am I worried too much?
