The unit behind the raid is the same one that went after Trump-Russia, and is the focus of the Durham “slow-vestigation”. I’ve said than1/6 is all about discrediting The Durham investigation- ie, Trump ran a coup and the FBI/CIA/TLAs ran one against Trump, so we are even. I think they are using this unit this way to make it so that the Durham report looks like a reprisal hit against them..

This is nothing but an illegal fishing expedition by the new Stasi. They knew DJT wasn’t there, kept the lawyers out and turned off the surveillance cameras and then seized everything they could just to dig through and see what turns up. Attorney-client privileged information, passports, whatever it didn’t matter. And what can’t be used legally will be leaked to the press to embarrass and sway opinions against 45.

After Trump said the FBI took his passports, CBS's Nora O’Donnell claimed that according to an unnamed “DOJ official” the FBI was not in possession of Trump’s passports. This was done to contradict and paint Trump as a liar. It was later revealed that the FBI did take the passports as Trump said. The FBI later returned them.

Listening to any news, one could easily think they were talking about two different events. It's litterally total oposite bewteen what say Fox reports and CNN reports, and so forth. I don't watch any of the legacy media, but have watched snippets on YT as posted in this thread.

CNN via various guests "Trump and crew lied and said they'd given all materials back requested, asked multiple times to do do and didn't, DOJ/FBI had no other options" yada yada

Fox via various gusts, including Trumps (hot) attorneys who were there etc "FBI came and looked at what was there, approved of it, asked us to add more security which we did, gave no notice they were coming" yada yada

I mean, how can two versions by THAT different???!

Someone is lying their a$$ off. Obviously, I have zero faith CNN et al has any interest or intentions of being truthful about anything relating to Trump and co, but it's really strange.

I did listen to a lengthy interview on NPR, which is left leaning to be sure, but are capable of having decent informed guests, and I forget who the guest was, but seemed to know the specific details and was very much in line with CNN version.

But of course, where that guest got their details and facts is also likley from DOJ/FBI.

Just saying, the two versions are literally 180 to each other and it's bizzar to me.
