How I see it is this. For Abiogenesis to even theoretically happen (we don't really know because it is far too complex for us to begin to duplicate or even fully understand currently), a bunch of complex events must happen. Not only must they happen, they must happen in a specific order while at the same time during that time frame, a random event not happen that destroys the required substances made.
If you seriously think about it. It's not simply winning the lottery, which with enough time, in theory, everyone will win. It is winning a bunch of lotteries. Each required temperature change , molecule combining, etc is a lottery. Add to this, that it isn't just a bunch of lotteries that is required to be won, it is winning those bunch of lotteries in an exact and specific order. All the while having to win the lottery at every "step" that the environment doesn't destroy what was just made before moving on to the next step. Losing any of of those lotteries out of order, starts you all over again. Once you can come to terms that time is not really an asset, but a hindrance, you realize that this is statistically impossible .
