Interesting. The ammo Iraqgunz gave me had some cases with ink dot lot/date codes directly on the brass. All sorts of various headstamps, bullet weights, etc. One head stamp read "SS-109". I saved that one. It must have been scrap/reject stuff. I pulled it all down over several weeks and saved what I could.

I've used IMI ammo on and off, the price and availability being reasonable, never had an issue.

All that is necessary for trolls to flourish, is for good men to do nothing.

I use IMI ammo and haven’t had any problems with the 9, 5.56, and 7.62; despite some loads running hot.

Part of IMI was privatized a while back, but not the ammo business which is owned by the government. You can see more here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/IMI_Systems

Yesterday, SGAmmo, my preferred ammo site, sent mail stating that IMI had significant price hikes and that they wouldn’t restock from them for the next 18 months.

SGAmmo still had IMI 5.56 and 7.62 on sale, and getting more 7.62 is on my todo list.
    Cheers,

I would call that above average. My experience with IMI m193 was 5 shot groups were generally under 1 1/2” at 100 yds.

    Good stuff Molon. Thank you.
A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.
