Ultimate SHTF (side charging, folding brace 5.56) Firearm?

PSA JAKL arrived to do battle for the ‘ultimate SHTF firearm’ (side charging, folding brace, stanag mag taking 5.56’s) against the BRN180S, FM15, Bren 2, Galil and inbound P556 and M85NP.

Edited to add: (for under $2k with red dot, sights and folding brace)

So first things first, any serious business firearm has a "stock" not a "brace."

Assuming this is just a LOLpost in the Euro tradition.

Sadly, I think it was posted unironically.

Definitely a cool and interesting collection. I wouldn't kick a one of them out of bed. But, save for maybe the incoming Sig P556, I'm not sure if I'd trust any of them as "my go to war" weapon. Nice collection though, no doubt.

On this side of SHTF the government folks frown on SBRs without excessive taxation so for now braces it is.

Not tracking. Are you saying SBRs aren't allowed where you live or are you saying you are unwilling to pay $200 to have a reliable setup?

I would probably go with that ACE. They seem to be pretty durable. I like the Bren in theory but mine has been finicky. Some of those other guns I am having difficulty identifying. The top one looks like some sort of horrible early 00s G36 hybrid from the back of shotgun news (JK)

I’m assembling these for comparison sake. I may end up keeping all of them but I don’t know which yet. I won’t be paying a tax stamp to SBR them or adding stocks.

SHTF firearm...I'd venture to guess whatever weapon you have with you at such time, be it handgun, AR pistol, lever gun, walking stick, whatever. My bias would be toward a standard AR rifle of ones favored manufacturer and some additional magazines. My compliments on a very nice assortment !

    How is a brace unreliable?
