    So the good news is your SF suppressor might be covered under warranty. I can see why you are unhappy with the results, especially if he knew he was doing a pin and weld with a suppressor in mind. Shouldn't be that hard to fix, just need to find a competent person for the work.

    The other good news is it's just a PSA, not like he hosed a preban or otherwise premium grade rifle. You can have the rifle completely refinished without harming any of it's value.

    I'm at a loss to understand why a gunsmith wouldn't test to make sure the threading was concentric to the bore.

    I have almost zero experience with perm mounting a brake on an AK, so I'm assuming the threads were fine and he simply needed to shim the space behind the brake and did not.
