Time to update the pew-pew

Wow it's been a looooonnnngggg time since I was on here! Even longer since I've done much of anything to the boomstick - ten years, I think. I need to update to all the fancy new gear I haven't kept up with. So, for those of you who have been keeping up, I need some advice. Main goal is to lighten this thing up. For example, the Troy rail is way too chunky. Don't mind the barrel length. I sawed off the front sight post and kept it as a low-profile gas block (carbine length gas).

Current (woefully old) setup:

Lower:
-Stag lower
-standard trigger
-MagPul MOE stock
-BCM Gunfighter grip mod (1st gen)

Upper:
-Troy 13.5 Battle Rail
-Magpul MS3 (newest edition to the rifle).
-Magpul Mbus (1st gen)
-Rainier Arms complete upper (5.56 NATO, 16", DD bolt carrier, BCM Gunfighter CH, forgot what break is on)
-Aimpoint Pro
-Viking Tactics light holder
-Cheapo Surefire pushbutton light.
