    I too have a standard AUG. I have no use for the NATO version. The NATO has one trigger bar while the standard has two. Thus, you get a better trigger pull with the standard. Plus, you get last round bolt catch and better magazines.

    I have an Arid trigger (requires fitting), a Ratworx 2020 sear, and Steyr reduced power springs. This results in a really nice trigger that is better than a stock M4. Some people report it may no longer be drop safe with that combination, but I slammed the hell out of my rifle butt without it “discharging,” so YMMV.

    There are a lot more options available now for mounting lights, grips, etc. My only gripe is that the barrels are 1:9” twist and not chrome lined. Come on! Seems like everyone makes a chrome lined 1:7 M4 barrel, and some for $150. Why can’t Steyr considering how much they charge?
