The M2 is very popular in the 3 Gun community not so much with the M4.

Only bad thing I have to say about the M2 is the LOP is a touch long for me even with the shorter recoil pad and will probably be picking up an Beretta 1301 as its replacement.

The M4 from factory is an 18" barrel and heavier compare to the M2 which can be order with a longer barrel. Typically you will find 21" or longer in 3 gun competitions. The are M4 on the market with a field stock. Btw, I had to replaced the stock cause the LOP on the M2 & M4 are too long for me. It would be nice if Magpul or someone else comes out with a field stock for the Benelli.

M2 is scary lightweight but feels like Mike Tyson punching your shoulder each time. But I love mine and wanted one for years and years. Would never sell it

The length of pull was too much for me on my M2. I bought a shorter stock and that solved the issue.
