In dade/broward county last evening moderate rainfall on/off, somewhat windy conditions, not at all harsh. At present, (late morning 9/28) clearing but increased wind conditions, some minor flooding 3-4", so fairly benign, most fortunate! On a side note, had out of state relatives inquiring if I had recently purchased enough 'emergency supplies'. Thanked them for their concern, but told them I always have supplies on hand regardless of the time of year :-)

That's fine, I'm in Iowa. Thankful to no longer be doing the hurricane drill. Looks like it's gonna miss my old zip code anyway. I still have family and friends down there but most are squared away.
