Mexicans are the laziest, most crime ridden people looking to do the jobs that Americans won't do at wages we turn our noses up at.

It is the weirdest dichotomy about immigrants in general. Lazy Mexican and Work like a Mexican can co-exist in people's minds at the same time. Steal welfare and our jobs...

The left can't meme because they are the ones in power. Meme-ing punches up, not down.
Exactly..... In my fifteen years as a cop, I witnessed numerous times that the lowly illegal was willing to do the jobs that Americans wouldn't for wages that Americans view as subpar. And they did it with a smile, while working 12 hour days and living in conditions that your average American would consider squalid. These people bust their butts and come here because they're able to provide for their families back home.

Are they criminals? Yes, illegal immigration is a problem. But are they solely to blame? No. They come here because there is an economic incentive.

AMERICAN BUSINESSES HIRE THEM BECAUSE AMERICANS WANT TO PAY THE CHEAPEST POSSIBLE FOR GOODS AND SERVICES.

It was Republican Legislative Leadership in Florida that killed the mandatory E-Verify bill back in 2018/2019. Why? Because the Republican Leadership that claims to be against illegals hire them for their agricultural businesses.

I've seen plenty of diehard Trump MAGA flag waving farmers happily hire illegals because they don't want to pay higher wages to attract American laborers.

Furthermore, hiring Mexicans and others is nothing new. Look up the Bracero Program and how the US has relied on Mexican labor forever.

I have seen crews of immigrants here working on the side of the highway, doing landscaping type work, during the mid day, when its 90 degrees and brutally humid. The boss is a white guy sitting in his truck with the A/C on. I'm not sure they are Mexicans, they are darker and shorter than what I thought most Mexicans are. Not and expert on picking the exact nationality of people from South of the Border.

One distinction worth noting was the Bracero Program had rules, it followed a legal process and if you broke the rules you were Outta Here.

You won't find an American doing that work. That's for sure.

I find that Guatemalans, for whatever reason, are shorter in stature- pocket Mexicans, the Graf Spee of immigrants.
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

I'm going to disagree. I detasseled corn one summer in Iowa. Worst job I ever had and we had to agree to "less than minimum wage" because it was agricultural work. I know few Iowa kids who never did that for a summer job, keep in mind I was a Florida transplant.

They don't need Mexicans for everything, they need some Iowa kids who aren't out of high school yet.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

Such practices were made illegal in 1938 under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Hell, Walmart was doing that in Mexico until 2018 when the Mexican Supreme Court ruled that Walmart must cease paying its employees in part with vouchers redeemable only at Walmart stores.

Amazon is trying to go to such a system via their "gamification", which rewards employees who complete high numbers of orders with Swag Bucks in a game-like system, which can then be used to buy Amazon-themed merchandise.

There is a reason why in thr first part of the 20th Century, Americans favored Unions, Socialism, Government Intervention, and Regulatory Compliance, etc...

The Gilded Age of Robber Barons really was a cluster **** for the common person.

The New Deal was an attempt to end it and for all of its **** ups, it did end it and out of that quagmire, American Middle Class benefited from it. When Neoliberalism (Reagan and Bush) came onto the stage, they deregulated the economy and the first thing that happened was everything was shipped overseas. Now you have a Nuevo-Class of Robber Barons popping up and the American Middle Class is hurting.

Again, Socialism sucks. My family fled it. But unrestricted Capitalism has its own issues.

“The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.” - Winston Churchill

Churchill wasn't wrong. It is the best system out there. But you have winners and losers under it and if left to its own devices. Capitalism will sell the very rope that will be used to hang itself to the Socialists that want to hang it.
    I just said that....you can't fix greed.

Same here, I've done my share of hard labor work. Masonry in the hot ass sun, sweat pouring off your brow like a faucet. The crew I was on was 95% American white guys when I joined, by the time I left years later it was 95% Mexicans. Not saying that's good or bad, just is what it is. I've seen how hard they can work, I've worked with them in the trenches, not sitting in some A/C truck. But there are Americans who will do that work too, although probably less so with the younger generations. I still help that crew out on occasion when they need an extra hand, gonna help them out tomorrow in fact.
