I'm getting close to buying the conversion parts for my Giraud so I can cut 6.5 brass. We just shoot too much of it to hand trim, and it's all mixed ages/firings.

I also loaded 10 rounds within +/-.001" hand-checked powder of each round.

Then I have my "normal" ammo. Ill update when I hit the range.
Update: <1.740 was averaging 2800, right where it should be. I have no clue where the 2730 loads came from unless I messed something up.

Im also not seeing noticable velocity changes from the cci41 or 400s

Im starting to think powder throw is the biggest factor. Ive been checking each load and will get a .15-.2gr swing randomly using tac, so i started manipulating the handle more consistently.

Its possible it was in a wierd lighting condition. Im Using an optical chrono so it is finicky.

Latest test was on a bright but overcast day and I was getting pretty consistent results.

Im calling development done on this one. Finally!!
