    Office Knives

I am now a cubicle dweller. Retired from my cop job. I downsized from my G19 to a 375XL. I ditched my pocket knives and now carry a small, fixed blade knife horizontally on my belt. Boss is ok with me being armed. Some co workers would get their panties in a twist if they noticed a pistol or pocket clip.

Im interested in more small, fixed blade knife options. I switch between a Le Griffe and a TDI. I'm a bigger fan of the Le Griff ...except for the chisel grind. Can't cut a straight line

It’s hard to beat the clinch pick for size a function.

Those are decent little knives. They are very small though and I find the grips to be less then ideal. The clich pick on the other hand has a very secure grip.

I do love my Clinch Picks!

Cecil Burch of Immediate Action Combatives and the Shivworks team collaborated with Tony Mayer at JM Custom Kydex. They came up with an excellent aftermarket sheath for the Clinch Pick.

Also, that very kind fellow Tom Kelly at Dark Star Gear makes some superb belt sheathes for defensive blades.

I personally own sheaths and holsters from both shops, and all three fellows are great, great people.

Depending on how low observable you need to go, there are other options that have less detectable signatures. But it sounds like you have a great boss and a good company.

Congrats on your service to your community, and making it to retirement.

    I appreciate that. Thank you.

I am familiar with Dark Star and have bought holsters from JM. I may need to get a clinch pick.

Add Armatus Carry Solutions to your list of top quality sheath makers. They made the TDI sheath pictured above.

That's nice though but I will recommend you to have a look at Shard Blades Neck Knife or Pocket Knife section They have some amazing toothpick knives tiny and sharp. I carry a few of them

I was looking for a fixed blade knife for when I didn’t want security to notice a clip. I found the Skallywag MDV. Now I carry it 95% of the time- I like it better than my ZT for defensive use. The one downside is that it is definitely not a utility knife for opening boxes, removing staples or digging out a splinter…
