I stand corrected... I pulled a 77gr SMK from the AAC Match w/ SMK, it has a cannalure.

EDIT... and yes, I agree, the ammo shown next to the boxes in both pics is identical.

What's the headstamp on this stuff?

Both the two above linked pages say... "Casing: AAC Brass-Boxer Primed, Fully Reloadable"

My 77gr SMK stuff ( the "Precision" 77gr load is on its way ) has a Headstamp of "AAC 5.56 NATO"

FWIW... all the other PSA / AAC 5.56 loads I have, 75gr Hornady and the 55gr V-Max are also headstamped "AAC 5.56 NATO"

Cool. Not sure if PB got his shipment yet, but maybe we'll get to add some impressions to the thread this weekend.

    Looking forward to your results.

And honestly, fingers crossed for a low priced accurate 77gr load.

Early reports show not so good ES and SD figures.. so maybe watch for that.

Yeah. We'll chrono some. Got some pics from PB. Round primer crimp on the pocket... Annealing iris visible. Other than that, it's .223 ammo. So we'll run the course with it.

(Box is not marked Sierra Match King, just 77 gr OTM.)

The primer crimp looks either weak or non existent for the m193 clone offering. Can you confirm?

Looks relatively deep to me. I'll end up punching some out after we shoot. But I've had XM193 crimps so mild, I could get a new primer in without removing them.

The photograph on page 2 of the OP's pdf file does not depict a confident primer crimp.

Cool. We'll have a look and see what PB received. I can tell a little by looking at it, but decapping really gives a good feel of how good the crimp is holding.
