For sure, I checked the trigger when I first got it and it was around 2.5ish or so, I never touched it. It seems like I remember you got yours down in the same area.I had almost bought the Timney trigger for it on sale but still would of been over $200 shipped but I held off & decided to go with the $10 fix and see. The single-round follower will be huge, even loading the 77s was a pain LOL I am very happy with the rifle for sure & even with the scope I have on it I feel good about the setup. Once I really settle in on the loads I'll worry about bi-pods or other goodies that I don't really need for it, LOL but for now, it's all good. It's an enjoyable work in progress for sure!

We tried running the 88s out to 1400 yards, and went like 1 for 8 on a 24" steel target. The 88s are much like 6.5cm where they get squirrelly at 1300 and beyond. They were fanning out in about a 4-5 foot area on the hill.

You reloading that nickel? I didn't get split neck on 3006 case til reload number 14 once upon a time. Have 5 reloads for 556 AR with no probs (yet). No annealing. Had nickel .270 split 1st reload... Once upon a time.....

    Just teasing.... I think.....

That was just some 308 FC brass used for a test load for the Gas gun. I annealed it with the un-plated stuff.

No idea. The nickel plating is very thin and I would guess it wouldn't have any impact on the underlying brass taking the annealment, but I'm not sure.

You can make your own sled if you have some plastic around
took me about 5 minutes to cut one out , I just saw a pic of one at
Midway for the idea . also added the trigger spring took my trigger
    down to 24 0z / 1.5 lbs . loaded up some 75 ELD's

I don't know what to say about that. If it works... great. But I'd probably mess that up trying to save $20.
